mr. beef is a multi-generational, chicago institution! period! christopher took over the operation from his father and uncle and is doing everything in keeping with family tradition. everyone is friendly, the place is clean and the italian beef is awesome. but, don't forget, there are rules. nothing is free, don't stammer, cash only and don't ask any stupid questions! rumor has it that jay leno still has a key to the joint and has been known to sleep in the backroom from time to time. now that's one lucky son of a bitch!
