while phil's is special, it has nothing on this old-school burger joint. a chicago original, this place has been doing it right for decades. no secret menu just step up to the counter and order the mac-daddy - a double burger with cheese, onion, lettuce, pickles and "special sauce." fantastic. fish sandwich if you want to be healthy (according to mommy k) and apple pie. kid friendly too. hell, you can even drive your car up to a window and they'll hand you your food! awesome!
