over easy cafe says they serve breakfast with a twist. based upon our experience it is more like a twist and shout! on the recommendation of a friend we made our way to ravenswood for breakfast and hope to go back soon for lunch. while over easy serves many familiar items they do it with ingredients and presentation not typically seen at breakfast joints! they also have weekly specials that take advantage of seasonally available ingredients. we split the sassy eggs (two eggs served over chorizo-potato hash with cheddar cheese, red peppers, jalapenos, guacamole, sour cream & ancho ketchup) and the banana-spiked french toast (brioche french toast layered with banana cream, sliced bananas and topped with rum-caramel sauce & candied pecans). trust us, this is one of the few times these cousins wish they didn't have to share! don't worry if there is a wait for a table (this place is small) as the kitchen serves its food at world-record pace most days from 7am-230pm.
